RAPCO Shim Insulators are FAA-PMA approved replacements for Cleveland brake assemblies. Produced to critical specifications, this special phenolic insulating material helps to reduce the transfer of excessive heat that can lead to brake failure. It is important to change the shim insulators as directed by the aircraft's maintenance manual. New Shims Insulators also help to achieve maximum life from brake linings and discs as well.
