PN Description

Unless your ELT is mounted in a position where the switch and light can be seen and operated from the pilots normal seated position, a remote control panel is required to be installed in the instrument panels.


All Kannad Aviation remote control panels have a switch with three positions. Armed (ready for use when activated by the automatic switch), ON (activates immediately), and Test/RESET.


This is the entry-level panel for DZUS rail mounting. Featuring a black front panel with white lettering and amber LED, it requires 4 or 5 AWG24 wires to connect to the ELT.


It also has an internal buzzer warns the pilot of an activation and there is an output to drive an external buzzer if required.
